But question is that which are the most Popular and influential Personalities to ever hold prominent positions of governance or decision making power? George Washington was an American statesman and a soldier of United State, who was the first President of the United State and also one of the founder of the United State. He served as Commander in Chief of the United State Army during the American Revolutionary War. and after that He also remain the president of convention that drafted the constitution of the United State.He was very popular and known as the father of the United State till this day.George Washington was born in a very wealthy family into the Provincial gentry of Colonial Virginia. In the beginning of his career he became an office in Colonial Militia. after some duration the second continental Congress commissioned him as Commander in Chief in the Continental Army in the American Revolution.
