Ethnic Equality

Before Islam Arab civilization had ethnic biases against non-Arabs. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) manage to clean these primal sentiments byHis individual examples. His closest friend Bilal (RA) bin Riba (RA) and Salman Farsi (RA) were both former slaves who went on to control massive value in the first Muslim society in the beginning of Islam. In His famous last address, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) affirmed “a white has no superiority over black one, nor does a black  over a white one, except by piety and good action and deeds”.
