In whole of the world each country has its forces to protect their countries from external and internal threats.  Some countries has their borders with their enemy’s countries and they possess their forces for the purpose to control and stop the enemy to attack on their country. They raise huge Armies and possess qualitative weapons to protect their interests and Nations from internal and external threats and risks. When we are going to compare the Armies of different world countries in all aspects i.e number of soldiers, ammunition strength, fighting skill and also the current involvement in war against terrorism and achievements. Pakistan Army was established at the time of Partition of India on 14^th of August 1947.  Pakistan Army is basically a ground force. Its structure is like Corps, Divisions, Brigades and regimental system. According to International Institute for Strategic Studies it has round about 620,000 working soldiers. Main responsibility and mission of Pakistan Army is to maintain the Law and order situation internally and externally. Pakistan Army was involved in different wars against its enemies on border i.e 1965 war, 1971 war and Kargil war. Pakistan Army has the professional qualified force with full commitment and devotion having the spirit to protect its Nation externally and internally. Pakistan Army also involved with full commitment in war against terrorism.  Zarb e Azab and Raad ul Fasad operations are the big achievements of Pakistan Army against Terrorism. Pakistan Army has the Nuclear Power and all the modern weapons. In affiliation with Pakistan Army for the defense of Air attacks and sea attacks there two more forces in Pakistan i.e. Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force. Pakistan Navy is headed By Chief of Naval Staff and Pakistan Air Force is headed by Chief of Air Staff. Pakistan Army is headed by Chief of Army Staff which is appointed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan with the approval of President of Pakistan. Chief of the Army staff is the four star senior General of joint staff committee. Nowadays The Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan Army is General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

United State has the world most powerful Army in the world. It performs the ground based operations. United State Army was established in 1784. United State Army is headed by the secretary of the Army and by Chief of Staff of Army. The mission of United State Army is 1. Preserving the peace and security and providing for the defense of the United States, the Commonwealths and possessions and any areas occupied by the United States. 2. Supporting the national policies. 3. Implementing the national objectives. 4. Overcoming any nations responsible for aggressive acts that imperil the peace and security of the United States.

United State Army is very stronger and fully equipped Army of the world. Its yearly budget is much bigger than the some 10 countries combined. It has about 1,347,300 serving soldiers. It is considered as one of the best-trained and most powerfully equipped armies of the world. It has the powerful aircraft, much more advancement in technologies and best qualified force and world’s best nuclear power system.

Indian Army is the second largest Army of the world. It was established in 1776 as a part of that time government. Which was at that time responsible for record keeping related to Army activities. There are approximately 1237117 serving active soldiers. The major responsibility of Indian Army is to look after its countries border and protect its country and Nation from external and internal security threats. This army consist of Ground Army, Aviation, Navy and other securities forces. This Army is well equipped with missiles and modern technologies.

President of India is the supreme head of Indian Army and it is headed by Chief of Army Staff who is four star General and a senior member of joint staff committee.

China’s Liberation Army is the world largest and strong Army after India and the United Sate Armies. This Army is there to protect its country. According to International Institute for Strategic Studies the size of this Army is 2183000 soldiers. The Army personals of China Army are the world best trained soldiers. It was established in 1927 and named as The China People’s Liberation Army which is also consists of its Navy, armed police and a strong air force. China Army is mainly divided into major five groups i.e. Ground Force, the air force, the Navy, the Rocket Force and the strategic Force. Most of the soldiers of this army are aged between 18 and 49 years.  This Army is well trained, skilled, professional and fully equipped with the modern weapons.
